Dr. Pinter is originally from Cary, IL—a northwest suburb of Chicago—and attended the University of Iowa, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Human Physiology and a minor in Psychology. Having had family members who experienced great success with chiropractic care, as well as having mentors who helped nudge him in this direction, he discovered a passion for holistic healthcare. He went on to earn his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, IL.
In clinical practice, Dr. Pinter focuses on injury and sports rehabilitation, postural correction, soft tissue recovery, and manual chiropractic adjusting. He is certified in Chiropractic Biophysics, a specialty within the field that alleviates pain by restoring proper posture and movement to the spine. He has extensive experience in post-surgical and sports injury rehabilitation and has attended numerous seminars on these topics. He is also certified in acupuncture, having completed a 100-hour training program.

Dr. Scherbauer received her certificate of acupuncture and doctorates of Chiropractic and Naturopathic Medicine from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. In addition to her doctorates, she obtained a Masters in Applied Anatomy from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio, and a Bachelor’s of Science in biology and psychology from University of Dayton, Ohio. She is trained in Webster technique, activator technique, kinesiology taping, and Mckenzie Diagnostic Therapy.
Dr. Scherbauer’s passion lies in identifying and correcting the root cause of pain and illness through natural methods in order to restore the body to vitality.
